Two Haub Law Alumni Appointed to Lead Federal Agencies
The Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ĢƵվ congratulates two distinguished alumni on their recent appointments to top positions in the federal government. Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. (LLM ‘87), former Professor of Law and Co-Director of the Pace Environmental Litigation Clinic, has been confirmed as Secretary of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Additionally, Kash Patel (JD ‘05) has been confirmed as Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
As the first Haub Law faculty and alumni appointed to their respective Senate-confirmed leadership positions in the executive branch of the U.S. government, the confirmations of Secretary Kennedy and Mr. Patel mark a milestone in the Law School’s history.
“We wish Secretary Kennedy and Mr. Patel success in their respective missions to protect the health and safety of the American people,” said Horace E. Anderson Jr., Dean of the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at ĢƵվ. “Their notable appointments highlight how a Haub Law education prepares graduates to impact the world outside the classroom.”
